SHOPPING MALLS, HYPERMARKETS, SUPERMARKETS AND WAREHOUSE
Stila Energy has installed several hundred voltage regulators in retail areas (supermarkets, hypermarkets, shopping centres, etc.) beginning with some top Italian and European chains. A good deal of these installations have been monitored for years, with the goal of verifying the savings obtained and the behaviour of the lamps handled, with excellent client satisfaction.
In this sector the interests of the client, besides verifying the actual savings achieved, is to preserve lighting levels that guarantee total satisfaction and maintain company standards.
These verifications and the data obtained show average savings on energy consumption of around 35%, with peaks of over 40%. These percentages of energy savings are a reflection of savings on the lighting plant only. When taken together with all other general energy consumption at a retail sales point the savings amount to values between 12-14%.
The energy savings is also generally accompanied by an improvement in the cosø value with a net decrease of the absorbed reactive energy and greater efficiency of the electric lines.


STILA ENERGY NUMBERS IN THE BIG DISTRIBUTION(FOOD AND NO FOOD)
Stila Energy products are currently installed in more than 700 Supermarkets and Shopping Centres and more than 100 Hypermarkets.

Stila Energy appliances are managing over 850 thousands square metres of retail area, which means about 23 MWatt of appliances (nominal value).

The saving percentage is 32% on average, only on the illumination load, which means about 30 million kWh per year not consumed (savings are more than 3,5 million Euro/year). The energy saving on the illumination with Stila Energy products in a retail area corresponds to 11% of the total electric energy consumption of that retail area.
